Hikmat Mohammed - Question 5 - How did you attract/address your audience?

We tried as hard as we could to use our results we gathered from our questionnaire, audience research video and the online survey. However, we did not use all of the results as we wanted to create a realistic opening. We wanted to use our imagination with our audiences in order to create a package full of no disappointments.

By our results we gathered that the suitable age certification for our film was 15, because it contains violence and some strong language. We also looked at other films which were similar to ours and their ratings, The Transporter had an age certificate of PG-13, and so did When A Stranger Calls. I understand from my research that most thrillers are 18, and we could not produce an 18 rated film because of our audience research, and it would be unfair to our audience.
15 is also an age where parents allow their children to go to the cinema not accompanied by adults, this was also a reason which led to this decision. This engages to question 4 where we discuss who would be the audience for our product.
